Bridal details are such a special part of your wedding gallery. You put so much thought into all the details for your wedding and I love capturing this often under-appreciated aspect of your day! Having planned my wedding with my fiancée earlier in the year, I know just how much time it takes to perfect all of these things. Where time permits, I love to spend some time capturing these details for your gallery and album as soon as I arrive on your wedding day.

I hope this blog will give you some inspiration when thinking about the details for your wedding, and show you how much these images can add to your gallery and album. The images here are from a styled shoot I recently organised.

The wedding invitation is often the first thing guests find out about your wedding day – it often hints at your colour scheme whilst also telling your guests the style of your wedding. There are so many choices when it comes to invitations – although this can be daunting, it means you can truly choose something that reflects you and your partner.

The veil might not be the first thing you noticed in these images, but the intricate patterns make beautiful backdrops, and provide a wonderful opportunity for showcase the style of veil you chose.

One of my favourite details to capture is your bridal shoes. Those who know me will tell you that I love my shoes and have an ever-growing collection! The shoes captured here are from Rainbow Club. Whether you choose intricate lace heels, chic flats or anything in between, I love getting some creative images to show off your chosen shoes!

As you’ll see from the images, I also include any jewellery you choose to wear in these images. Alongside jewellery, I can include anything else that’s special to you – this might be a family heirloom or the “something blue” a friend has given you. If you have something in mind, do let me know so I can ensure it’s included in your wedding images. If there’s a story behind something, I’d love to hear it too.

It’s also great to include some loose flowers in these images, as they so often tie in wonderfully with the other details like your invitation suite. I’ll reach out to your florist in advance and ask if they can include a few loose flowers for these images.

Of course, these images aren’t only of the bride’s details – I also spend some time capturing the groom’s details. As well as including your watch and possibly cufflinks, I love to incorporate your buttonhole into these images. Items like a tie pin and pocket square also look fantastic in these images, along with anything else you’re planning to wear. It won’t come as a surprise that if you’ve treated yourself to some shoes for your wedding day, I’ll definitely include these in your gallery too!

I’d love to hear what you’re planning on wearing on your wedding day, and whether any of the details you’ve chosen are particularly special to you. I hope you enjoy looking through these images, and feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions!
